Our founder, Steve Pinnell, started his career at the cutting edge of global technology. He was one of the engineers behind Motorola’s first 3G base station. Then came Panasonic’s first colour mobile phone. Eventually, Steve led a global team of 120 engineers, managing 12 international suppliers to deliver a phone so advanced it was used to make the first call from the summit of Everest. 
 
From mega-corporations like Motorola to startups with five people and a world-changing idea, Steve has delivered projects on both ends of the spectrum. After his decade in telecoms, he joined a small MedTech company with a big mission: use digital tools to keep people out of hospital and improve care quality at scale. 

That’s where everything changed. 

Over the next few years, Steve helped take two healthcare technologies from idea to reality scaling a team from 5 to 35 and turning cutting-edge R&D into a successful eight-figure business. Their electronic patient record solution became the most widely used in UK ambulance services, while their remote monitoring platform helped thousands manage chronic conditions from home. 
 
But success wasn’t just about innovation. It was about delivery. Steve applied everything he’d learned as a programme and operations director combining deep technical knowledge with rigorous project management, structured processes, and financial models that made products not only work, but work at scale.
